General School Announcements

• There are only 4 days of school remaining in the 2022-2023 school year! 
• The official last day of school will be Thursday, May 25.  Tuesday-Thursday, May 23-25, are half days for students; all students will be dismissed at 11:30 am.  Students in grades 7-11 who are not exempt will have exams these mornings.  Please plan personal trips and events accordingly.
• Exam schedule:
  • 1st period exam on Tuesday, May 23, 8:00 - 8:55 am
  • 2nd period exam on Tuesday, May 23, 9:00 - 9:52 am
  • 7th period exam on Tuesday, May 23, 9:57 am - 10:49 am
  • 3rd period exam on Wednesday, May 24, 8:00 - 8:55 am
  • 4th period on Wednesday, May 24, 9:00 - 9:52 am
  • 5th period exam on Thursday, May 25, 8:00 - 8:55 am
  • 6th period exam on Thursday, May 25, 9:00 - 9:52 am
• Graduation is Friday, May 26.

Announcements Related to LCHS Athletic Events:

• Tennis 
  • A meeting for students who wish to play on the school tennis team in 2024 and their parents/guardians will be Monday, May 22, at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria.

Announcements Related to School Clubs, Events, Activities, and Opportunities

• The 23-24 Ambassadors will receive an email by Monday, May 22. Thank you to all who applied.

Announcements Related to School Fees and Orders

• Yearbooks are now on sale! The deadline to purchase is graduation day. Order forms have been passed out and can also be picked up outside the high school office or from Mrs. Howdyshell. Orders can also be placed online.

• Calhoun Community College is holding CYBER Camps!  There are several sessions during the summer.  If you are a rising 9-12th grader and you are interested,  see Mrs Morgan.
