Lexington Celebrates FCCLA Week

Life and lifelong skills what Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America students in Kimberly Walker's classes are learning at Lexington High School. During the hybrid schedule, students work at home using e-learning on textbook and curricula-based activities and when at school, put their learning into practice through hands-on activities.

Supporting the school-wide fundraising, these freshmen students are making hearts, heart-streamers, and red flowers to encourage all students in participating.

Some of the most recent student projects include making small pillow hearts, baby quilts, and other items for young siblings, cousins, or others. The Alabama state competition is coming soon and the students will be showcasing their ongoing work and projects.
