Lauderdale County School System transportation supervisor, Kevin Creekmore, reports that the district has added five new buses to the fleet today.
Preparing for this purchase all year, Mr. Creekmore says that two will be in service for students and families at Lauderdale County High School, one for Rogers High School, and two at Central High School.
Mr. Creekmore explains that these purchases are made with fleet renewal funds. And, he reports that two more will arrive in March which will be assigned to Central High School.
With the new buses in service, Mr. Creekmore says, "These purchases will make the Lauderdale County fleet have 76 of 80 route buses model year makes of 2012 and newer."
