The Lauderdale County School System COVID-19 Dashboard provides the number of quarantine individuals and positive cases for each school and the system total. The LCSS has a student enrollment of 8,087 and employs approximately 1,000 staff members.
Positive and suspected cases are addressed and accessed on an individual basis, and all healthcare services personnel respond to these situations by following the guidance from the Alabama Department of Public Health. After contact tracing is conducted, any student or staff member that is found to be exposed will be contacted. Those considered to not be exposed will not be contacted.
Updates are made to the Dashboard on Mondays by noon with the previous week’s data.
