Be on time to class. You are considered tardy if you are not in your classroom by the time the tardy bell begins to ring.
-
Show respect for your teacher and for your classmates. Disrespectful language, gestures, or attitudes will not be tolerated at Waterloo High School. If you are perceived as being disrespectful by a teacher, you have violated this rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
-
Do not interfere in any way with the learning environment of the classroom. Talking, making unnecessary noises, being out of your seat without permission, making unnecessary movements are all deterrents to learning.
-
Follow directions the first time given. You should obey directions asked of you by a teacher promptly and without hesitation.
-
Come to class prepared with all necessary materials. At the minimum, students should have a pencil, paper, textbook and chromebook upon entering a classroom. Some courses require students to have special items or materials. Be responsible enough to know what you need for class and have the correct materials with you when the tardy bell rings.
