Jerry Hill, Superintendent

  • A Message from Mr. Hill

Welcome to the Lauderdale County School System. Educating 8,037 students at ten school sites and the career and technical center, our goal is to offer the highest-quality educational opportunities in an equitable way for our students.

As we start the new spring semester, we are proud of our teachers, all our staff, our students, and parents/guardians who have been flexible and made the necessary adjustments throughout this response to the COVID-19 virus.

Our school system’s faculty and staff take great pride in their daily commitment of striving to meet each student’s needs and educational goals, as well as providing a safe environment for all.  Each school in our system is fortunate to have excellent faculty and staff members who truly care for our students.

I encourage all of our stakeholders—students, parents, and community members—to become involved with our schools. Students and schools benefit when we are working together to meet learning needs. We are working alongside you to build future leaders.

It takes us all working together to reach our District’s goal of building “Community Schools Empowering Students for Success.”

Thank you for your support of the Lauderdale County School System. When I may be of service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.
