A Message from Mr. Hill
I am excited to begin this new school year of service to the Lauderdale County School District. Many of our employees have spent the last few summer months working to prepare for students to enter our buildings. The new school year brings excitement, anticipation, and lots of learning. We will welcome back over 8,100 students and 1,200 employees.
The communities within our county system are a vital part of the success we experience every day. I hope you know we value our students, employees, and families and are here to serve each of you.
There are also challenges that sometimes come with a new year, please let us know if we can assist you and serve you better in the upcoming school year.
Our system is making strides to provide a safer environment for everyone on our campuses. We ask for your assistance and support in ensuring that our children are always the top priority in decisions made. We will begin the 2023-2024 school year with more technology focused on safety than ever before.
I am proud to be a product of the Lauderdale County School District and will continue to work toward improving our system each day.
Sincerely,Jerry Hill
