October is recognized as Anti-Bullying Awareness month. Students in Mrs. Fields’s Business Skills Development classes have been providing a public service announcement each morning to students of Brooks High School. In addition, the students created posters to reinforce the daily PSAs and hung them around the school to remind students bullying is not accepted at BHS.
November 14 is Diabetes Awareness Day
Join in and help us support and raise money and awareness for our Type One Kids. All funds raised will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). On this day, students are being asked to wear blue and we will also have Hat Day. Students that wear a hat must donate $1 to the JDRF.
The three shirt options available this year are pictured above. If you would like to order, you can order online by texting Haley Moore at 256-710-1754 and she will send you the link, OR you can send a check to school (written to Haley Moore) or cash with your order filled out below and she will place it for you. Each shirt is Bella Canvas material and is $25 each. Deadline to order is Oct 24.
7th and 8th grade schedules may be picked up Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Locker and chromebook fees can be paid the first week of school. If you are unable to pick up schedules during this time, all schedules will be distributed the first day of school.
