  • Congratulations to Trista Hill on being selected as the ATCTC Simulated Workplace “Employee of the Month” for September.

    Trista Hill

    Trista is a senior at Brooks High School. She completed Foundations of Health Science with Mrs. Corum and Therapeutic Services with Mr. Stricklin. She is currently enrolled in Mrs. Corum’s Certified Nursing Assistant program where she served as the Simulated Workplace “charge nurse” 1st semester. According to Mrs. Corum, Trista gave an amazing speech when running for HOSA President and was elected to serve in that position this year. She plans on competing in the Nursing Assistant competition 2nd semester. Trista is an extremely dedicated student who had perfect attendance in Mrs. Corum’s class the 1st nine weeks. Trista serves as a volunteer firefighter with the Rogersville Fire Department and is extremely comfortable completing hands-on work. She volunteered assisting the school nurses at Brooks High School with the annual employee health screening earlier this year. The BHS nurses called twice praising Trista’s work ethic and requested for her to return again. Trista plans on becoming a nurse and possibly serve in the military.


    Congratulations to Jennifer Neiman on being selected as the Lauderdale County School System Career and Technical Education “Student of the Month” for September.

    Jennifer Neiman

    Jennifer is a senior at Central High School where she is a member of Mrs. Cooper’s Cosmetology program. She currently has a 3.8 overall GPA. She is enrolled in her 5th cosmetology class. She is an active member of SkillsUSA where she currently serves as president for the 2nd year. Last year, Jennifer competed in the SkillsUSA District Competition where she placed 2nd. She competed in the State SkillsUSA event in April where she placed 4th overall. She plans on competing in SkillsUSA again this school year. She plans on competing at the Lauderdale County CTSO Competition Day and the NWSCC cosmetology competition as well. Jennifer is also a member of the Central High School Best Robotics Team. She has a very positive attitude and is a proven leader in the classroom. Jennifer is employed at Jack’s restaurant. When Jennifer graduates, she plans on completing her Cosmetology degree at NWSCC.
