Mr. Willie Joiner Principal
Mr. Joiner has been married to his wife, Kelley Joiner, Principal/Director of Allen Thornton Career Technical Center, for 32 years. They have two children (Hannah, 28 and Fowler, 26) who are both graduates of Lexington High School. Hannah and her husband, Aaron Hanbury, live in Winter Park, FL where Hannah teaches Spanish at Orangewood Christian School and Aaron is Managing Editor for Relevant magazine. Fowler is in his fourth year of medical school at UAB and is currently participating in rotations at Huntsville Hospital.

I serve as Assistant Principal. The first two years I was at Lexington, I served as half-time Assistant Principal and half-time Math teacher. Prior to this I was a Math teacher at Cloverdale Junior High School for eleven years. The last two of those, I also served as the basketball coach for the girls' and boys' teams. I started my career in education at Underwood Elementary School during the 1993-1994 school year as a PE paraprofessional.
My wife, Amy, and I have been married since 1991. She is the Library Media Specialist at Clements High School. We are the proud parents of two daughters, Anna and Jenna. They are ages 19 and 14. We live in the metropolis of Grassy.
I have been married to Keith since 1992. We have two daughters. They both attend UNA. I enjoy traveling with family and friends. When I am not cheering on the LHS Bears, I absolutely love AU football...WAR EAGLE!
