The mission of the Lauderdale County Child Nutrition Program, an integral component of your child's education, is to provide a variety of healthy food items and nutrition education to empower your student to make wise choices.

Breakfast prices are $.75 for full paying students and $.30 for reduced students.  Lunch prices are $1.75 for full paying students and $.40 for reduced students.

For the 2012-2013 school year we have started a new lunch meal pattern as regulated by the USDA.  The following lists a breakdown of the lunch meal pattern:

2 oz (9th-12th) and 1 oz (K-8th) meat/meat alternate daily

2 oz (9th-12th) and 1 oz (K-8th) equivalent grain daily

1 cup (9th-12th) and 3/4 cup (K-8th) of vegetable daily

1 cup (9th-12th) and 1/2 cup (K-8th) of fruit daily

1 cup milk daily for all grades (milk choices vary according to availability at school)

Daily Calories for Lunch:

  K-5th -550 to 650 calories

6th-8th -600 to 700 calories

9th-12th -750 to 850 calories
